A brown frog makes its way through a damp, moss-covered patch of woodland, reaching forward with one leg. Soft green foliage frames the scene, revealing a small moment in the hidden world of the forest floor.

On a mainly clear June afternoon, I was out for a photo walk at Torpanäsets Naturreservat in Tranemo Municipality when I found this little character among the moss. The frog was trying to hide in the greenery, but nothing escapes my sharp eye. At least that is what I prefer to believe.
