At Trängslet Reservoir in Dalarna, the mist lay thick over the “troll forest”. The air was cool, around 13°C, and I liked the late-evening light, but it was the way the mist divided the distant trees into layers that held my attention. Those bands gave the scene its shape and became the reason for making the photograph.
