This canoe was our transport for a fishing trip on Rensjön in Älvdalen Municipality, Dalarna. It is an intriguing lake: one moment the water can be so still and clear that the bottom is visible several metres down; then the wind rises and the surface turns black. We had a fine evening out with an electric motor on the canoe, under a clear sky. Did we catch anything? No—not even a bite.
