Eurasian Treecreeper on Mossy Tree

I was lucky to catch this Eurasian treecreeper with its wing spread. At Hofsnäs in Tranemo Municipality, the day was grey and overcast, the light was poor, and the birds themselves were quick. Treecreepers have a distinctive routine: they usually begin low on a trunk, circle it as they work upwards, then repeat the process. Their familiar pattern, and the speed with which they follow it, made this frame especially fortunate.
