On my first photo walk of the year, I photographed this red squirrel among the trees at Hofsnäs in Tranemo Municipality. The sky was clear, and the March sun brought some welcome warmth. The squirrel looked as though it had come through the winter well; judging by its energy, it appreciated the sun as much as I did—if not more.
