At Hofsnäs in Tranemo Municipality, I photographed a small microhabitat on a fallen tree. I saw it as a little world in itself, supporting both flora and fauna amid the decaying wood. Under an overcast sky, I concentrated on the moss, small plants and layered surface rather than the wider autumn woodland.
